Iain Kerr is a designer, systems thinker, and innovation researcher, working at the intersection of creativity, STEAM and emergent systems. With a background in architecture, design, art, and philosophy and over twenty five years of teaching experience, he brings a unique perspective to issues of creativity, innovation, design, and K-12 pedagogy. His work is focused on inventing novel creative processes for learning, innovation and changemaking. Iain has spent the last two decades developing and teaching internationally unique transformative models of creative processes. He co-directs the MIXLab at MSU (the university’s Center for Innovation) and is a founding partner of both the innovation consultancy Emergent Futures Lab, and the boundary blurring art collective SPURSE.
